Kosher beef from our own pastures

We raise the cattle, contract the shechita and ship the container. One owner from pasture to port, so you deal with the source, not a chain of brokers.

Pasture to port

One chain, one owner

Most kosher beef reaches importers through three or four hands. Ours passes through one. We own the herd, contract the kosher slaughter at an export-approved plant, and handle the paperwork and the reefer ourselves.

STEP 1

Pasture

Cattle raised on our own land in Uruguay, on open pasture. Every animal carries an individual ID from birth.

Our herd
STEP 2

Shechita

Kosher slaughter by certified shochtim under rabbinical supervision, with lung inspection for glatt.

Export-approved plant
STEP 3

Certification

Kosher certificate, Uruguayan veterinary health certificate and certificate of origin issued with each lot.

Rabbinate + MGAP
STEP 4

Port

Loaded in 40′ reefers at Montevideo, chilled or frozen, shipped to your port of choice.

Why Uruguay

A country built for traceable beef

Uruguay has more cattle than people, and a livestock system designed around export markets that ask hard questions.

SNIG

Every animal, individually traced

Each head is registered in SNIG, the national livestock registry, from the farm it was born on to the plant. We can trace a carton back to the animal.

Pasture-raised

Grown on grass, in open fields

Our cattle are raised outdoors on natural pasture, the way Uruguayan cattle have been raised for generations.

No hormones

Growth hormones are banned

Uruguay prohibits hormonal growth promoters and animal-protein feed in cattle. It is the law, not a premium label.

Forequarter program

Cuts we supply

Kosher production in South America is based on the forequarter. Cuts are boned, trimmed to your spec and packed per carton or per piece.
